What people are saying...
"I'm so grateful I found Kate!! I was struggling my very sensitive Thoroughbred mare and she has helped me tremendously. Kate seems to instinctively understand her - how she thinks and reacts and is able to clearly instruct me how to better communicate with my horse. Since starting my training with Kate, my dressage scores went from low 50's to mid 60's in a very short amount of time - I'm so excited to see how far we can go as we continue our training. Thank you Kate!"
"Kate cares about the whole horse and the whole person, and what makes each one tick, inside and out. This is rare trait in any trainer and gives her students a very large edge."
"Kate challenges us, but always provides affirming encouraging insights each ride. I learn something new each time we train, and she understands I want to enjoy riding and my horse, not just win ribbons or move up the levels."
"Kate is an exceptional person who cares so much about her students. She is kind and patient. Her voice is always soft, and warm and challenges us to win our goals. The horses are spoiled at GGF, a place where you know your horse is loved and guaranteed a nick name. You are always in great company while riding and grooming by some one or some animal even if its Walter, the barn's favorite duck!"
Green Gables is a wonderful farm! The beautiful pastoral setting is coupled with a kind and supportive community of boarders, a quite and comfortable environment for the horses with lots of amenities, and very attentive care. Kate is a knowledgeable trainer that is both patient with her students and excels at tailoring the training plan to each horse and rider pair she works with.
